Buy a PS3?

I'm hopefully getting a PS3 soon in the future and wondering what to expect, so if anyone has anythoughts or comments to help me understand the platform please feel free to post your thoughts.

its the sh!t... i mean i think its the best system out personally... minus a few things i wish i could do that xbox does.. mostly custom sound tracks

well i can tell you i have had all 3 systems and each has its own style and character, but the ps3 is my favorite. you can expect great exclusives like uncharted 2, heavy rain, god of war 3, gran turismo 5 in a few monthsYankeesNYC4life

Been gaming on PS3 since 2007 and is the best current gen console personally. great exclusives, all multiplats, the King of JRPGs. it has anything a gamer could ask for :oops:.. plus motion controls

You can play god of war 3. nuff said.

Played the PS2 for a long time so I am a Sony fan and then PS3 came out and it has GREAT games for all ages! LittleBigPlanet for the younger kids, Motorstorm and Gran Turismo for the hardcore racers (don't forget ModNation Racers!), also tons of fun shooters that are out and coming out: (Out now) COD Modern Warfare 2, BFBC2, Killzone, Fallout, etc. (Coming out) Socom 4, Killzone 3, Fallout: NV, Medal of Honor, COD Black Ops, Homefront, etc. (the list could go on for awhile). So many new games coming out for it like GT5 and LBP 2, plus Portal 2! PS3 all the way! Also, don't get me started with those insane graphics! :D

PS3 is a great console. But it truly depends on the exclusives you want. Xbox360 has better online. PS3 has more in house studios. So do you want Halo or Killzone 3... I own all three and play my xbox more. But thats because I like the controller better and bought it first.
