Buy a PS3 Slim right now for 271$ or wait for bundle???

I just recently brought a PS3 slim at Dell.com for 271$for purposes of reselling it (ya i know) but now i am having second thoughts. I am looking forward to buy one for myself but i dont know whether i should buy it now or wait fora thanksgiving bundle?

So my questions to you guys is - Is it worth the wait?

Here are my rough calculations in terms of bundling,

• PS3 slim - 271$
• HDMI cable - 5$ ( i already have one but still)
• PS3 remote - 25$
• 2 games or 1 game and 1 blu ray movie- 100$ (Brand new releases of course)

Total - 401$

If i get a bundle will i have more savings?? I am looking to save around 30-40$ cos if its just a difference of 10-20$ then its not worth it..

Wont it just be more expensive? I mean i really dont need 250 gigs cos i already have like 4 Tb's worth of hard drives and i cant think of what i would use the extra space for...

Keep it that is a great price for the PS3 slim and all the bundles I'm sure will be more expensive for at least a year or so. Well maybe walmart might offer one with the game but you will have to pay 299+tax for that so it makes no sense since you can get new games for $50 or lesson the net nowadaysby looking around different sites or checking out cheapassgamer.com. That is a great site to get some deals for sure. Slickdeals.net is also pretty good. I'm sure you might have used them to find that Dell deal.

Yea i found the deal on Slickdeals and i was thinking of selling it on ebay/craiglist to make some profit so that i can buy the bundle over the holidays. So the general consensus is that my PS3 slim is a good deal then? If so then i am going to unbox it today ;)

EDIT: I am going to wait till today for any replies that i might get that can change my decision. If i dont have a good argument then i will open it up tomm...Thanks!

I'm pretty sure the only bundle you might see before year's end would be a 250gb GT5 bundle if the game comes out for $399. Maybe Amzon might knock $30 off of it during black Friday but that will only save you what $1. The only places that will have bundles with extra games or controllers would be B&M stores and you will have to pay tax for them that would kind of defeat the benefit.

I'm sure they will have a new firmware update to fix the bug. It is my favorite game. I would also recommend VC, KZ2, MGS4, RFOM and R2 and R&CTOD and Warhawk. I didn't care for LBP(unless you are very creative it really is just simple platformer with co-op). I also didn't care for Infamous as I found it too repetitive. Amazon normally has some of the best prices. There is a discount card ECA that costs $20/year that gives you and extra 10% off of games(new and used). Also, you can get it into your gold box for an extra 5% on Amazon. The ECA memembership details is on cheapassgamer.com site. That site is also good on finding where you buy cheap games at other stores on sites. Congrats on becoming a PS3 member to our community if you decide to keep it.

To get there you have to rate products that are closely related to your potential purchase and then filter out products that come up in your recommended list that you don't want. I know there is a thread on it on either cheapassgamer or slickdeals.net. Just google Amzon Gold Box trick. The short forms are VC Valkyria Chronicles, Resistance Fall of Man & Rachet & Clank Tools of Destruction(sorry I mean this as Crack in time doesn't come out until October).

Man I just saw you on cheapassgamer asking the same question. LOL. If you have that much doubt and need that $30-$40 just sell it. No need asking everyone. Just make a decision and live with it. You won't see the slim for anything cheaper than $255 +Tax which was the Dell deal. it sounds like money is an issue so just sell it and don't buy a slim till you can afford one. Sorry if I'm wrong. You need to be able to pay your rent.

Man I just saw you on cheapassgamer asking the same question. LOL. If you have that much doubt and need that $30-$40 just sell it. No need asking everyone. Just make a decision and live with it. Hehehe..I am sorry for posting it again and again and no money in not abig issue. I just dont want to regret my decision later over the holidays cos if i will be getting a free game (which i am not now)for the same price it will be very much worth the price..But in any case i will hold on to this one.
