yeah, its still $600 in the US. My recommendation: if you can affor it, get it (hell, i couldnt afford it and still got it, just recently got my $$ situation all good). I'm very pleased with mine and its only gonna get better and better. I dont anticipate a price drop anytime soon, prolly not till next year (just a guess, i really have no idea, i just doubt they would before christmas since people will pay 600 at christmas).
OK, i just needed a little push. Im going to go get one NOW. Any recommendations on games. I like sports, GTA clones, shooters & Action. Do i need anything else besides the HDMI cables?
It is quite simply the most awesome system I have ever owned. And like another poster said already, it's only getting better. If you can afford to buy one, you're in for an awesome treat!
A lot of my friends are waiting for the price drop. To be honest, it will probably be sometime between September-December. IF YOU ARE PLANNING ON GETTING A PS3 FOR THE XMAS SEASON RELEASES, BUY ONE NOW! When all of the titles hit for xmas, everyone and their mother is going to want a next-gen console, especially GTAIV. GTAIV will sell both consoles. If you want to play the Xmas releases get one soon, or else you could be fighting mothers for your system at toys R us.
get it right now, MS has been taking excutive game from us only because too many people are waiting to get ps3, if you have to get one anyway, just get it now, the faster you get, the better game we have.
