Should I buy games or download them off PSN? What are the advantages and disadvantages in your opinions?

I like to buy games rather than download them because I like having a hard physical copy. One good reason to buy games is if you don't like the game, you can always sell it whereas with downloads, you can't.

Advantages- You don't have to leave the house or wait for them to be delivered, just wait for the download to finish. Don't have to insert/take out discs as they're stored on the HDD. Disadvantages- If the HDD breaks/corrupts, you'll have to redownload them all again, you can't sell them, and they will gradually take up a lot of HDD space.

I agree. Also I never sell my games because I like to collect games. this is one of the things that scares me moving on to the next gen. I don't like buying digital game(unless its an arcade game).

Like someone else said, It's all about how much space it will take up, and how much you have available. If space isn't an issue then downloading could be a good option.

^^THIS^^ You will NEVER get your money back unless of course you sell your account I guess. Plus...Games like Warhawk can only be played on 1 PS3 per 24 hour period. I have 2 PS3's and had to buy a 2nd copy just so I could play in my bedroom because my living room had the downloaded copy. Now I can only get rid of one IF I ever wanted to.

If you have some close friends that also have PS3's, definitely download. That way, you can share games with each other. I was able for share Burnout Paradise with 3 of my friends. We each paid 5 bucks. That's a deal!
