I'm going to be traveling a lot in the coming months and I was wondering I should go ahead and get a psp or wait untill October (after the bulk of my traveling) and get the slimmer one. I'm afraid about the battery life too so please give me your opinions.

i recommand u to wait for the slim psp becaue it has much better controls and loading time. As for battery, it can only last as long as current psp because it is using 1200 mah while the current psp is using 1800 mah battery.

I think you should wait and get the redesigned psp as it has a good amounts of improvements over the original. more internal memory, fatser loading times, thinner and lighter, tv out, improved battery, brighter etc.

I'm definitely picking up the Slim PSP. It's gonna be at least 2 yrs till the next PSP system is released, I'm ok with that.

the load times will not be faster unless the developers develop solely for the psp slim....just because there is more internal memory doesnt mean the load time will be faster unless the developers use it, but if the developers make game using the 64mb memory that the slim psp has then what happens to the games when they try and run on the old psp with its 32mb.....watch this video with jack tretton and you will see that the load times thing is just a possibility and not something that will happen atleast right away.... he also says this prob wont be the last redesign of the psp. http://kotaku.com/gaming/kotakutalku/jack-tretton-on-psp-update-278503.php?autoplay=true

Hey,

I would argue that you go ahead and get the PSP now.

You are going to be traveling, might as well have something to play. Like for me, once my traveling is over, I am ready to sit down with my PS3 not really so much my psp. So if you wait you may not even need it anymore.
