Resistance because it has great online and is a good value.

Ninja Gaiden because it feels very rewarding when you beat the game.

Heavenly Sword just because I don't think the others are that great. Not a big warhawk fan.

Warhawk

Heavenly Sword / Ninja Gaiden Sigma (Obviously HS if you dont have a 360 to play sequel)

Virtua Fighter 5

The best combination of all the games

Heavenly Sword, Warhawk, and Lair, cause these three games will be the best showcase for the ps3's true next gen gameplay. Resistance should become a greatest hit soon and you can then pick it up for $19.99 new. If you haven't tried Motorstorm yet, it's also a early showcase for the ps3's power, and the latest update last week greatly improved the motion sensing on the game 10 fold.

Yea, Maybe i should have mentioned that i do have a 360 with Oblivion, Rainbow Six, and GRAW2, and ive also got Motorstorm.

I cant really decide, i really want warhawk, thats a must for me, i love online games. But i cant really decide on the other 2, ive heard alot of good things about Heavenly Sward, i havent played Resistance, and i really liked Virtua Fighter (the only reason i wouldnt get it is because of no online play). So HELP!! haha, thanks again for any help!

I don't know, but Resistance is a must have. Online is awesome and the campaign is a blast too. Great ending. Can't wait for Resistance 2

But Lair is just so horrible. I cannot stand the controls and camera. No way I'm spending that much money on that. The graphics are awesome but that's not enough to offset how bad the rest of the game is.

I'd go with Ninja Gaiden Sigma, Warhawk, and Resistance: Fall of Man

Ninja Gaiden Sigma is pretty much, hands down the best version of Ninja Gaiden that was originally out for the Xbox. Warhawk is just tons of fun to play; imagine the Battlefield-series a bit how chaotic and fun it can get and you have Warhawk. Resistance: Fall of Man is a great game, period. I'm not sure when it will drop down to Greatest Hits because I'm not sure if it has sold enough to warrant that mark. However, you could find it used for pretty darn cheap.

Put your money towards reserves. You seem to like action games so I'd go and pre-order Unreal Tournament 3, Warhawk (40 bucks) and Assassins Creed

R:FoM, Warhawk, and Heavenly Sword. Lair is good but no where as good as the other games. NGS was great but felt last gen to me and was a tad easier than I expected. I didn't like VF5 when I rented it.

My pick:

Resistance: Why? Cause it's a very challenging game with both a fun single player and an even more thrilling multi player.

Warhawk: Why? I have never played a multi player game as fun as this is, if you like online games this is the one for you.

Heavenly Sword: Why? A sequel of course, not to mention non stop 8 hours of action, a thrilling story, and loads of Nariko to boot. ;)

This would be my three for a few reasons.

1. Played Ninja Gaiden before and beat it, don't need to spend more on better graphics.

2. Virtual Fighter 5 will come down in price soon, and I would wait for an update for online play. If neither of these things happen within a time frame, then Soul Caliber 4 and Tekken 6 will be out before you know it.

3. From what I have heard on Lair, it's just not a very good game. I know some people enjoy it, but you may not be one who does. Rent it first and see.

5. You know Ratchet and Clank: TOD is going to be out very soon.

Ok Then Maybe you should do this

Warhawk $60

Heavenly Sword - $60

Virtua Fighter - $40

Ninja Gaiden Black - $20

Total win. Although im not too sure i think there was a topic in system wars with a link confirming ps3 vf5 online via patch.

Yeah I would do this. Basically you should decide between Resistance and Warhawk. With their online components either of those games will keep you entertained for months. I would save the rest of your money for the holiday season. Better games are coming out and the games that are out now will be on sale then...

I would say:

Rainbow 6:Vegas, Warhawk, Motorstorm, Oblivion, Ninja Gaiden Sigma, and Heavenly Sword are all titles you can't go wrong with. I personally would get R6:Vegas (not the best graphically, but awesome online play), Warhawk (especially if you don't have a headset) and either Ninja Gaiden or Heavenly Sword. Oblivion if you are into American RPG games.

RFoM without a doubt. Technically and gameplay wise its a win, its been an AAA title for a while, its worth checking out for sure.

After two shooters I'm incliened to suggest a different sort of game. Based off some of the titles in your profile I think you would like Heavenly Sword. Its cinematic and full of action.

Otherwise if you want to go the PSN route, I highly recommend Tekken 5: DA and Stardust HD for a solid arcade type experience.

Warhawk(most fun youll have online)/ Resistance (compelling first player mode and a great online game)/ Its a tough call between HS and NGS. If your not turned off by the difficulty go with NGS if you dont wanna get your ass constantly kicked then go with HS.

I have THPS8, Rfom, RR7, VF5, and NBASH and all of them a recommendable, except perhaps NBA street. If you own a ps3 without getting Resistance then you are just stupid. Its my favorite fps ever.

resistance single player coop and online is awesome, warhawk - so damn fun and you can play coop online with a friend which is just a blast and heavenly sword for a epic adventure from start to finish that shows the start of what ps3 games can do(it's short but you have warhawk and resistance for the replay value)

Heavenly sword is the first ps3 tiltle that showcases power of ps3, plus its awesome (god of war) and once ur friends see that game in action they will be amazed!!! resistance in a month or two will be 20 bucks, and ninja gaiden sucks i rented it and the story was just so boring and frusturating it also gets repetive, and really hard so unless u feel like throwing ur controller down and possibly breaking it dont get ninja just rent the demo (good luck beating the short demo it took me 5 trys) VF5 also just deserves a rent, and so does lair. Lair controls and gameplay suck.

Oblivion - Great value for a game with at least 60 hours worth into it.

Resistance / Rainbow Six: Vegas - Really competitive online :)

Warhawk - One of the best multiplayer experiences ever.

You could also try Ninja Gaiden, Heavenly Sword and Lair as rentals to see if you like them first.

i would get warhawk. iplay all the time and its fun doing ground work. lair is really nice looking but i would really just rent this game once you beat the game you prob wont play it again. RES i still play it so i would say def buy it. and HS is a awsome game and dont let other kids tell you that it is short cause i have played many games that were short that were worth everything.

Thats what I hope to be doing soon. Is buying most of the good PS3 game I have not. In one bunch. And I have to get ready for work again now. Yea I worked last night now this morning. But thats how you own high class toys lol. PS3 being one of them. 25 to "I dont know how much has been put in by now?" grand car being another.

But yea I dont have like Oblivion. I want to go back and get that. And I dont have F1 and a few others.

And whats with TGS, has Sony not shown anything yet. Or is Gamespot just taking it in the rear From Microsoft as usual? I swear either these kids that work hear are crybaby fansboys ten times more than us. Or they take it in the raer from them. Microsoft already got cough last year once paying posters. Wounder if they will get nabbed again. What we cant wait for is the poster to get busted also. They only do a slap on thewrist to the company.

The world is eventually gona figure out that the PS3 is the better hardware. You cant sell that BS forever lol And thats Major BS. Face it the 360 is old 2003 hardware its easy to program, so looks good now. But when they get the PS3 none ports, and at 70% or so. It will be over "As far as graphics wise," everyone knows it. I mean the 360 can sell, "we got Halo" Or whatever, thats true, its fact. But its also fact that its not as powerful as a PS3.

Resistance is a Sure Bet. Good Story, Good Multi-Player, Great Looking Game, and a lot of fun. I would also recommend MotoStorm because it looks great, controls Great, and the In car view has some really insane moments when cars/bikes/atvs/etc crash in front of you. If your a racer fan this is a must buy in my opinion. Warhawk is really good for BattleFront type multiplayer action if that is what you are into. Tekken Dark Resurrection is $19.99 offline and another $9.99 for the Online and is pretty good as well. I've heard good and bad about Lair but have not played it myself. So I guess my 3 recommendations are; 1) Resistance 2) MotorStorm 3) Warhawk
