here are some great games that i highly suggest:
Uncharted - tomb raider adventure story meets gears of war cover system controls, fantastic graphics
Ratchet and Clank - pixar like graphics, great control, and one of the best platformers of last year
Warhawk - my personal favorite, very addicting online multiplayer, kinda a cross between Crimson Skies and Star Wars Battlefront with great online options
Heavenly Sword - great graphics and controls, probably the best cinematics of last year, only downfall is its short - took me 8-10 hours or so to beat it... some say they beat it quicker. even if you dont buy this game you should definately rent it or borrow it from a friend. one of my favorites from last year.
Folklore - a solid action rpg with great graphics and music, really creative combat system too where you capture enemies then use their attacks from then on... only complaint i had was it could get tedious - there are two main characters and you basically have to replay each chapter twice to finish game.
Eye of Judgment - if you like games like Magic the gathering or Yugioh/pokemon, you will probably really like this one. I was surprised by how well designed and balanced the actual card game was, plus playing friends online is cool. Also comes with playstation eye camera.
Motorstorm - my favorite racer since the burnout series. definately not a sim but if you like off road racers this is a great pickup. Comes with the 80gb version so if you want this game you may wanna consider getting that.
Resistance - the best of the launch titles, great story mode, great online, very fun weapons.
