Buying a PS3 but...

Well im going to buy a PS3 but it will be from Japan. Is there any reason why I shouldn't get it from Japan? I can easily just get one from duty free. Im from Australia.

hmm region codes for ps1 games ( and ps2 games if it has b/c ) and blu-ray/dvd movies...

oh also check its cables, it may not be right for you, though its easy to solve...

Not sure but is there some region restriction ? And what about the language ? You better make sure of these things before getting it.I would recommend you to get it from the place where you live.Wouldnt create any problem for you !

There is no region restriction...on games at least. Also the language wouldn't be a problem if your talking about the language in the game, because thats one of the first things they ask when you start the PS3 for the first time.
