Hi, i'm planning to purchase a ps3 console since i have a 10% discount on my credit card, but i have to make my dicision quick since the card will expire next week. My only concern right now is that if the ps3 will have a price drop or a remodel (like the xbox 360 elite) any time soon cause i hate to buy the system and then two months or so later its price drop or a better model come out. So if anybody have any source of information concerning my problem, Please share. Thnks alot.

I think I read on gamespot that Sony will have a price drop around the hoilday shopping season. As for a remake of the PS3, your good man it's not going to happen.

Wait to buy it until after the Sony Conference next week. It won't be worth the 10% discount, if they drop the price by $100.

if you can afford to wait until after sony's pre E3 congerence you'll be able to see how much of a price drop and when it will come into effect making your decision that much eaiser

There probably going to have a price drop in september like a $100 but just calculate in your calculator how much would you save and make your decesion and how much the difference would be also there is not going to be a remake until next next year so don't worry about the remake

I'd get it now. The price drop is just a rumor and may or may not happen right away. 10% with your credit card is $60, vs $100 "potential" price drop. I think I'd buy now and start enjoying it. 6 months from now you aren't going to care about the $40 more you "maybe" saved you'll just be happy you've been enjoying it so long. I bought mine at launch so I could enjoy it over the entire life cycle. It's worth it to me to pay the extra to enjoy it longer.
