Ok so, after the long wait I decided I'm going to buy a PS3. Now I'm torn between two things, either get a PS3 now, and preorder the limited edition of MGS4, or wait a month and hope to get one of the special MGS4 PS3 bundles, trade in the game, and still get the limited edition of MGS4. Basically, I want the limited edition, but don't know if I should get the console, or wait and get the bundle. Any differences besides the color? Thanks to anyone and everyone who can help, I really appreciate it.

Well if you don't care about BC just get the 40gig now and save 100$ which will buy you MGS4 LE. Kinda pointless to wait unless you want the 80gig that has BC.

I know most will say wait, but I really do want the LE, mainly because I'm studying music composition and conceptual art, so I'm a sucker when it comes to video game music soundtracks, art books, and behind the scenes dvd/blu ray extras. On the topic of consoles, is 40 gigs enough? I understand 80 has bc, but to be honest I doubt I'll play any of my old PS2 games. But on my 360, I had to upgrade to a 120 gig harddrive because 20 wasn't cutting it. I have about 34 gigs used, but I have a lot of arcade games my cousin downloads, so that could be why. Thanks again for all have helped me. I really appreciate it.

It should be enough for normal usage. It's stuff like game demos and videos that take up alot of space or if you upload music or photos to the hardrive. In the end if its to small the hard drive can be upgraded to the largest size available relatively easy.

40GB is a good starter size. But you'll want to get at least a 80GB HDD. But guess what? Those upgrade sizes will be hard to find and not worth it. So, you might as well upgrade to a 160GB and not worry about it. Want proof? 80GB HDD on Newegg costs $60.00 120GB HDD on Newegg costs $70.00 160GB HDD on Newegg costs $80.00 Twenty dollars more you get DOUBLE the space. Get the 40GB PS3. Then save up $80 (or less) and get the 160GB HDD.
