Buying a PS3 (Is it worth it)

Please.. no fanboys answer this.. i want a honest oppinion.....

Well... i plan on buying a PS3 tomorrow..but i wanna know if its worth the purchase.. im gonna get the 60G model which comes along with Resistance and Heavenly sword for free which costs £350 (europe) soo.. i wanna know if the ps3 is actully worth buying?

I owned a 360 when it first came out, and sold it after I got myPs3. Never got the 3 rings of death, I just feel Sony makes a better machine. RFOM is an awesome game to play, the online is prob the best part. I actually liked Heavenly Sword, and had a blast playing it. I have beaten it twice and still play. So yeah, imo it is well worth the money. Good luck with your purchase,hope you enjoy it as much as most of us do.

There is no other way to say it mate - it is worth it. :)

You're buying a PS3 at a very exciting time. The games are flowing now and will continue to flow until we reach a crescendo in MGS4 and Killzone 2 early next year. Not to mention Home getting launched 1st quarter of next year also. If I didn't have a PS3 already and I was presented with your deal, I would snap it up in a heart beat.

Like any console, there are games you need to avoid, but RFOM and HS are very solid games and are a good sample of things to come.
