Buying a psp now a good choice?

Well,i'm looking at ebay for a psp just for kicks.my bday in a couple of weeks so why not?

Well,the thing i dont want to spend that much on a psp..So i've been looking around and watching a few auctions and i've been seeing a average psp slim sold for about 80-100 bucks.I can afford that^_^

But i know the new psp 3000 coming out..Is ther a MAJOR difference?(Put it this way,is the new psp 3000 worth 100 more than the slim?)

Any new features besides the brighter screen and things like thath?

So far,when i get the psp i'm lookong forward to playing the metal gear games and some final fantasy..any more to look forward?Any good fps or rpg coming out?

I already have one(Heres the story.I started out with a ds. It got stolen,so i got a psp. psp got stolen so i got a ds. Ds lite comes out and i get that.Ds lite breaks,so i get ds like red/black.Now i'm thinking on getting a psp.)

you know I was just thinking of buying a PSP system myself. If your looking for the cheapest one I would go for the one thats 80-100 but its used and worn. I myself would save money and get the better one, I don't even know what it looks like but it could have better sound the screen could be bigger. but do what you want a psp is a psp despite the differnces.

I really don't know of that many games coming out cause I'm not a psp owner. Dude that sucks you got both stolen, I flipped when somebody stole my PS1 and i had my ps2 so really no big loss. but still it pissed me off, can't imagine what you went through.... dang theives

The ds wasn't that bad because the hinge was broken(I mean it was a little crack.Still,i'm pretty sure i know who stole it because i went to some place and after it got stolen,the person stopped coming >_>) . And also,i let my aunt borrow the psp(and it was stolen in an airport.She said it dissapeasred in her bag when she landed and went to get the bag back.). She felt bad and gave me money ^_^.Its not that bad,

Ok,i just won a psp..

It was in overall good condition,slim version,and it was just a few short of being a full pacakge(no headphones or memory card,no biggy) and it totaled up to(with tax and ship) 92 bucks.Not to shabby,because i've seen a phat one go up to 90 so i'm happy ^_^.

Slim < Phat.

Phat has infared. Its actually pretty useful if..."Manipulated"

Also, Phat is much more durable.

My Slim broke in two weeks(the LCD)

My Phat broke in 5 months. (the outer case)

Which seems to be the better deal?
