cabelas big game hunter 2012 please reconnect wireless controller 1 to continue?

Just got cabelas big game hunter 2012 for PS3 and im getting this msg in a blu screen. please reconnect wireless controller 1 to continue,,whats this? I cant play just blew 32 bucks on it:( I heard its a great hunting game. im usin the regular sixaxis wireless controller,why is it saying connect it? IS there a work around for this?

Its always connected, yeah i evin tried plugging it in to to no success. Its worked for all other games

if i remember correctly that one used a gun as a cotroller, and i have no idea if it was optional, thats why i didn't buy big game 12..
