Call of Duty 3 gets bashed too much

Call of duty 4 is amazing, but I just bought COD3 and I have to say its a very fun game

Great missions and fantastic graphics

I never understood the hate CoD3 received either. I thought it was a very good game, and I'll go so far as to say that I enjoyed it just as much as CoD2, which is what it was compared to.

Thinking about it again, I'll go so far as to say that I enjoyed it a bit more then CoD2, honestly.

I agree. CoD3 was no CoD or CoD2, but it was solid. I think it was a mistake keeping it to consoles only, though :(

If you think CoD3 gets bashed too much, wait until CoD5 comes out. :? It won't be a fair comparison to CoD4 in one sense, but any game that takes a step backwards deserves some bashing.

I realize we know very little about the game, but I just don't see how it will be better than CoD4, given it's development process (different dev, WW2 again, etc.).

CoD3 was another WW2 shooter...boring. Of course it was a good shooter but after a while WW2 got sooo boring. I didn't like the Sixaxis controls either the game didn't feel very good imo. CoD4 on the other hand was refreshing, great gameplay, great story and amazing online :D

I guess I'm in the minority, as I much prefer WW2 shooters to modern shooters. I also like futuristic shooters more than modern shooters.
