Ok, so i was thinking of getting COD4 today, but i dont wanna get it unless the online community is still alive. I just want to know if i should get it.
you need to be patient with it though, pretty much everyone is going to be better than you to start with, but stick with it, it's immensely fun (i was playing it like 10 mins ago, still can't get enough)

Yeah There are still tons of people playing it.It seems to one of those games that nomatter how many other shooters come out,people will still keep coming back to this game to play.
If you're new to the game I'd say get it. It has really tight controls and the leveling system gives you something to work for. It may get boring after a few months so I recommend joining a clan after you get used to the controls. That will usually add a new level of fun to the game.

you should prepare to be addicted as well, say good bye to friends you arent that close with too
