play Domination maps. You'll level up faster to get the perks and new weapons.

Use the same weapon to level it, that way you get addons like better sights.

keep playing till u get the red dot scope... itll make life easier

use the mp5 and M16... all other guns are garbage and equip stopping power when you get it (perk 2)

Cant stand the red scope....I just like the dot thing....

-dont run into rooms you know theres enemies in, you will most likely die, nade the hell out of it and take is slowly, or try and shoot ppl through windows and walls.
-never stay in one spot too long, you'll die
-go for cover when you see airstrike or heli attack
-if your in a group, dont be the first one to storm in a room.. the first one dies 85% of the time, and the 2nd usually gets the kills.
-YOUR NEVER SAFE, if you think your safe, your not. they can snipe you with a HEAVY machine gun from all the way across the map through 18 walls without looking-some people are really good and play too much(im one of them).
-if your in a gun fight and your close to the enemy (really close) go for the knife, not only is it embaressing for them, it makes you feel good and its one hit kill.

huh? you dont get much kills in it.

I play ground war or dommination and get 30 to 60 kills (my k/d ratio is 2.3 with about 8000 kills). I dont mess around with that slow pace stuff.

I really don't get why the recent online shooters are considered so hard for people. To me its just the same as the old-school games just with more flashy stuff. CoD4 is an easy game to play, the guns are so accurate, just try not to die and wall through people if you know they're taking cover and are hiding right beside that door. Walling people is a feature very under-used in this game.

Thats horrible advice, i hate when people do that it just makes it so you've got a bunch of people waiting around. That might work in TDM or SD but not in objective games.

I'm the 1st one in... and I get all the kills (frag and stun em then finish em off with an mp5).

et the red dot scope, its amazing.

use the MP5, it dominates every map due to accuracy and rate of fire. I use it all the time, at close range, nothing beats it.

If you want to level up fast, try to complete challenges, dont stick to one wepon just because you have a red dot scope for it, go on to another wepon, try out a diffeent wepon class, and get the red dot scope for it. These challenges level you up fast.

Like the 15ft drop, thats easy, so is the 30ft drop, taking out a helipcoper can be done. and crouch shot is a doddle.

flanking gets you loads of points, plus think before shooting, when you shoot, you show up on radar.

ALWAYS take cover, use the map, and watch your 6.

tips: think of cod4 like ninja's with guns. You have to act ninja in order to flank the opponant and get the kill. If you have a ninja mindset it helps.

level up: play headquaters enough until you get with a good team. Seriously if you can dominate its like 5 exp for every few seconds you control the area +10 for kills. If you do that and complete the challenges you should level up pretty fast. From there use the G36C and M14 when you get high enough

like every one else is saying start out with the m16 and mp5. once you get a little better go with the g3 and sniper because if you can aim quickly they have the best accuracy ( bolt action sniper) and do a lot of damage.

Use the stopping power perk

if sniping dont stay in one spot for more than 30 secoonds. this is because when you kill some one you can look at the kill cam to find out were you are and nail you ( I know this because this is how i find out where snipers are).

if you know theres someone in a room you are going to enter throw a flash bang. always let some one on your team enter the room first cause they will probably die.

always cook your grenades ( hold them longer ) because then people cant run from them when they land killing them instantly.

in domination stand near but out of sight of a flag and nail people that come to capture it. Ps start playing domination in the beggining and then sabotage when you you get better.

Forgot to mention, that each kill= 50 points. and planting/ defusing a bomb= 100 points.

Also my points for each game is around 900 points. Got 1000 a couple of times...
