Call of Duty as of right now, it's hard to compare a game that's not nearly as finished as Call of Duty 4 is. Especially, as been said, with it's online aspect.
I've been playing the CoD4 beta and I'm just not anticipating it anymore. Don't get me wrong, it's a good game, but I just don't feel anything for it yet. I'm sure the game will be solid but I just can't get into it for some reason.
Killzone 2 will be new to me and I would much rather take the unknown Killzone 2 over Call of Duty 4 right now.
since i despise modern combat...which i think isnt innovated at all...its an experience...like been there done that plenty of times.....killzone 2 for me ...even tho the 1st wasnt so hot for some people ...that is if they even played it...oh and plus killzone 2 graphics PWN CoD4's graphics ..really really really hard
