Call of Duty 4 players online?

I'm planning on purchasing Call of Duty 4 tomorrow. Just wondering on average how many people are usually online for the PS3.

There is no way I am going to spend $60 on a game without the multiplayer. When I can just play Halo 3 on my 360.

Add me too, usually on most evenings. Why has this patch not been released in the EU, sometimes it takes me 5 minutes to find a game?

one of my fastest waiting times for
a game was about 10seconds
at non peak periods you may
have to wait at the most a few minutes..
i usually only play deathmatch though
there is always people indifferent game modes

I hate that, I often start it and then go off and make a coffee while I wait to get in to a game

Well first you chosse the game type you want to play, then it will search for other people who want to play that mode and make a game. Or you can host a private match tweak the mode/rules to anything you want, and invite all your friends.

and so I purchased the game. So far its been great. =)

The only problem is that games don't take me roughly 10 seconds to find a game. I'm waiting for nearly 5 mins, which is a set down...I'm hoping that it won't be like this all the time.. Its currently 9 pm pacific time.
