Such a shame the game play was so bad in Airborne as the whole dropping into the map and the graphics are superb. If they had gone for a bit more realism to the game play and less of the simple arcade type feel it could have been a great game. All that said i did reallly enjoy it for a week so would be a good rental.
Played the COD4 multiplayer Beta on the 360 andthe single player PC demo that came out yesterday and it really stands head and shoulders over Airborne.
The single player level does have a bit of a feel that we have seen it all before but the graphics are sweet.
The Multiplayer Beta simply rocks, logged in many many hours of play on it and I have usually only like coop game play such as terrorist hunt and missions in Vegas with friends and cant usually stand the just run around killing each other modes that COD4 offers and every other shooter under the sun offers but COD4 was really something else.
I will certainly buy it but may well get the 360 version over the PS3 one as I have got really use to the 360 controls having played the Beta for so long and I really like rumble in my FPS's, but if the reviews think the PS3 is the better version I will get it and maybe look into impoting a rumble controller from Asia.
