Call of Duty 5 not being maded by Infinty Ward????????

Rumour has it that the next game in the awesome Call of Duty series will be taking a step backwards, returning to the over-used World War II setting after its glorious foray into contemporary conflict with the 10/10-rated Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare. It seems an illogical step, but when you consider that CoD3's developer Treyarch is back in the saddle as opposed to Infinity Ward, and thata Pacific location has been hinted at, it all starts to sound more and more likely.

They rotate devs so they get a two year development cycle and yes it probably will suck ass.JustWiicredible

i hear infinty ward already developing call of duty 6 which won't be out till 2010 or 2011 a long time to wait

Very old news. I know for a fact that I won't be getting this game! I don't like world war 2 themed games.

That's putting it mildly.. i mean, you're correct but to top it off. they jump out on the fron of the car, lie down on their stomac with their heads first and then crash into the wall. But, there are room for dumb games too. (just look at games like Jenga for the Wii) and somebody has to make them. but the COD fanboys ( i mean, the true COD fanboys that loves the series with all their heart) will still buy it, and Treyarch will go "uuuh, we can just keep doing this WWII thing. that's cool" .. so it'll never end. :/

hmmm u know call of duty going to have proably havefuture like weapons probably nothing stupid like UT3 weapons proably be like Frontlines fuel of war anyway anyone know when thet game drop on PS3 release date?????

no no im talking about Call of Duty 6 may have futuristic weapons but think about it since u made it up WW2 game with futuristic weapons sound like new concept when you think about it tho but like resistance rip off at the end of the day

ooh. right right, i could see it for CoD6. but i would think that they should start from where you left off with CoD4. [spoiler] the guy you save on the plane is some high and mighty important person who carries new info on the bad guys. etc etc [/spoiler]

But yeah, they could go all futuristic like.. well Battlefield 2142 actually. and use weird weapons like that. but i wouldn't like that too much :(
