Call of Duty: Future Warfare?

Hey guys. Now we all know that they're making CoD:MW2. But do any of you think it should be a FUTURE war? WWII is getting boring,

no no no no Call of Duty should explore Vietnam, that would be sweet!!! Imagine that, the mostviolent war of all time with next gen graphics with Call of Duty's sick online features!!!! Why hasnt anybody made this yet? it would be sweet, screw the future, we already got unreal tournament 3 and Killzone 2 for that genre.

I third Vietnam! They need a "Full Metal Jacket" mission... the part where they're in the chopper and the gunner is shooting at the civilians (or VC, sorry)... fantastic!

No, Future warfare wouldn't execute well with Call of Duty franchise.

American War for independence, everyone lines up and shoots each other and then charges with bayonets.

Why not try it. I'd like to see a game with futuristic weaponry, and the sensibilities of the COD series.

if you want a futuristic warfare game.. go with KZ2...

just as long as i'm not shooting proton blasts on aliens in hovercrafts....i'm ok with it...future conflict with better guns...but not crazy ones like gravity guns

I didn't like the future-scape of the Battlefield series. What was it? Battlefield 2110 or something? I think COD MW should be just that, MODERN warfare, not FUTURE warfare.

I know many will disagree , maybe even flame on me but I thought BF 2142 was/is the best of them so , if done right it could be nice althought I can't see the formula working on a more linear game like call of duty.

what about the ability to get into vehicles? since their trying to catch up with modern times maybe they could add this.

I think they should do vietnam. I would like to play an American revolution game, it would be cool sneaking through the bushes and trees and flanking the enemy and such :)

COD MW2 just came out and you people are allready thinking about a new COD??!!...I say lets enjoy this new addition to the series for a while.....that is the problem with today's gaming comunity, everyone hypes a game and then when it comes out they already forget about it and start thinking about what new games are gonna come out....what ever happened to the good old times when a game kept you intrested for more than 2-3 days??!!.....I guess thats also the developers fault....thank god that there are games like demon's soul and dragon age origins, that keep you busy....today games are just too easy and short....:(....anyway if i had to choose i would say vietnam COD...there aren't any good vietnam FPS around....
