CALL OF DUTY Is the only franchise I play

I don't know what it is, whether its the score streaks, the camo or just the fact of killing robots and pedestrians. Not including the remote car. I just cannot stay away from call of duty. My dream is to be a pro player. Call of duty is literally the best thing that has ever happened to me. Does anybody else feel the same or similar way?

Please feel free to share your thoughts. I'm new to the site and looking to find some acquaintances

Nope, a pathetic game.

I used to love the series, but MW3 was the last good game in the series and I can't stomach the trash they're putting out now.

I wouldn't say i'm as dedicated to you, but it is a fun game. I usually play it whilst catching up on a podcast or something.

COD has not been good since WOW.

Before then it had not been good since COD2 on PC.

You know what gets me? I know quite a few people who have this same mentality, they ONLY play COD. All they do is work, come home and play COD online for hours. You'd think that after doing this for a decade they'd be good. They'd be able to compete in tournaments or something, but no, they are never more than an average player who knows a lot about the game. One of the few games ive played for very long periods and spent 1/3rd of that COD decade (so 3 years) playing, was Tekken 2 and 3 and as a result i was taking part in tournaments. I just don't get it. It seems to be a magnet for incompetent gamers.

@rampagev: I don't judge, but many that just play the Call of Duty games, is because they're easily succumb to the yearly marketing campaign, and not the actual games themselves. The series itself is behind the times in both mechanics and technical features, but is well advertised to make customers believe it's worth the asking price.

Reality is you should be trying different FPS games at the very least that have already achieved a higher standard. CoD is still just using a modded id Tech 3 engine, so if you played some Call of Duty, then played something like D00M (2016) you'll notice a massive difference. D00M handling and performing much better.

If you just like multiplayer however I hear Titanfall2 is very good.

I still like the franchise, even though I stopped buying the yearly release years ago. The only ones I still play are COD Future Warfare and COD Modern Warfare. Now I'm not going to hate on you because you love the franchise, but damn, there are so many other great games out there.... I really do hope you are kidding though!

@rampagev: If you're looking for other games, I'd recommend Titanfall 2.

Its a good FPS series that has been hit or miss with some of its entries. COD BLOPS3 is easily one of my favorites in terms of online play. The modern warfare series had an excellent singleplayer story.

@rampagev: jokes aside, this new call of duty on the horizon is looking promising & the zombies for the first time in history looks to add a theme of horror so i will be getting this & it will be the first cod i have played since black ops 2
