Call of Duty: World at War BLOWS

Am I right? The online is nothing compared to Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare. The servers are unstable with a horrible host system. The maps are usually way too big, and just crappy in general giving one side an uneven advantage. Sound effects blow, the soldiers sound like they are wearing wooden boots, and the guns sound plastic. Perks are nothing special, same old thing with nothing much to add. This game does do a few things right, however, the assist system works decently, and Nazi Zombies can be fun once you get the hang of it. Campaign was short, but had it's moments, tried a little to hard to mimic Cod 4 MW's cool moments (i.e. "The Ghillie Mission"). A wee bit typical for a WW2 shooter. Deserves a 7.5 max. Anyways, this is just my opinion, and my flame sheild is at my side so say what you will. so what did you guys think of this game?Nasty_butler_9

I honestly thought the game should have been rated equal to or higher than COD4. Great game. Can't say I agree with anything you just said. You don't like the game based on the sounds of the boots? Perks are nothing special? Guns sound plastic? Are we playing the same game? This game is FAR from TYPICAL as far as WWII shooters go. I've never played a WWII game with as much action, gore, intensity that COD WaW offers. Not to mention the great online co-op. Maybe you need to try this game on the 360.

CODWAW is a great addition to 4,

If any one enjoyed 4 they should like WAW

I agree i was a huuuuuge fan of COD4 but5 horrible it has ups and downs but more down btw killzone 2 might become good but it will never be the "Halo Killer" sry to sayFuzzyDoom

and now i hope KZ2 will be similar but more tactical and refreshing than just cod 4 +waw all the time, oh and way more aesthetically pleasing

I'm playing World at War multiplayer on PC and I'm having a blast. Single Player though... I was pissed when I hear some type of crappy metal music playing.

WTF? Metal and WWII don't go together.. I literally face-palmed and I don't know how I'm gonna get past this part. :cry: COD4 is betterz.

Whatever, CoD:WaW is wayyyyyyy better than 4. Especially when it comes to single player. LOL 4 took like an hour and a half to beat and that was smoke breaks in between. WaW took atleast 3 hours. And as for online, works fine for me. I don't have server issues. Only thing they need to implement onto the ps3 that the 360 has is region selection. A few glitches on maps but they will be fixed. Multiplayer online for WaW is way better than CoD:MW(4) for me.

As for the vehicles and people who say they are cheap. Thats because you suck. Its not hard to outrun the turn speed of the turret, and not to mention blow the tank up.

Now don't get me wrong, CoD:MW was awesome, but CoD:WaW is better. Hands down. Im not even going to come back to this forum to see what others have to say.

I think WaW is better. Due to co-op mode, limbs, legs, bodies, and heads come off.

I hope Modern Warfare 2 ups the gore factor.
