can a japanese ps3, which is 100 volts. work in the usa ?

yes, but i have played for around two hours pluged to 110, and nothing happend, i just wanna know if it will harm the system

It will work fine, you wont even need a power adapter or a power converter. Just get a PC power cable online or from your local PC shop and it will work fine.

I got my PS3 in the USA and use it no issues here in Australia, just got a spare PC power cable I had laying around.

All PS3's are 100-220v, power brick is inside the unit.
