I pretty sure that i read about it being able to play something like 15,000 ps2 and ps1 games, so yeah that in my mind is alot of 'em.
And also pimper i have to agree with azzamy. he's just asking for help. sure it might be a weird question. but still he is asking for your help andyou aint helpin him out at all.
YES! Especially if you get the 60 GB model, which has the hardware from PS1 and PS2 built in. 80 GB model plays about 80-85% of the PS library.
Please don't ever confuse a PS3 for an Xbox 360...
Yes you can and if you have the US 60 gig system it has the EE chip that allows the PS3 to play somewhere around 90% up to close 99% of the PS1/PS2 games. In time the consoles without the EE chip could be just as good with firmware updates.
