Hi, I live in Chennai - India . And i want to know if there is anyone who can play the ps3 online from India ? if there is how do u connect to the PSN ??

of course you can connect to psn, you just have to create a psn account or two on your ps3, assuming that you have internet access from your ps3... either create a local account for india or an international one with a us or uk or whichever country you like address and start playing... :)

well duh....psn was always up....just connect to the net and your ready to go.....and now luckily we got psn store.....finally!!!! its been a long time comin after all.... i got really tired of havin to buy eu or us psn cards online and then wait for em to come or get emailed... just so i could get the dammed dlc's.....much easier now......though the store may still be a little unorganized :P its still better than nothin

Dude,you are lucky Sony recognizes India.I live in Nigeria and Sony doesnt even recognize the whole of Africa at all,we mostly use EU accounts

u can play online with any account,only thing is u cant access playstation Store if ur having a local account....i have played uncharted2 with my local account(indian account)

Yes, PSN network does work well from India. Infact all prices of purchases are available in INR in the Playstation Store.

I use it regularly from Bangalore. I have Airtel WIFI at home and my PS3 uses it. Do add me up as your friend. My PSN id

is asheeshjoshi

Some PS3 games that I have with multiplayer online mode are RDR-Red Dead Redemption, Uncharted 2 - Among Theves, Assassins Creed 2.

I do get onto the RDR free from mulitplayer mode and see other people ( mostly from US ) .

i heard india have terrible infrastructure even in big cities...hopefully you guys dont get blackout when you play games, cuz it really sucks when you have that during gaming.
