I keep hearing that the PS3 has dedicated servers while the 360 has P2P. Can anybody please excplain what do they mean and also what does P2P mean. I also keep hearing that dedicated servers are better. Can anybody please tell me why?

this means htat the sony uses a system or a cluster of systems... to run dedicated servers which is a single machine hosting the game on a high band width connection ussaly T1 or T3 connection...

P2P is peer 2 peer meaning that say you host a game while you play the game and other join your game... this is where the 360s talk directly to eachother...

Basicaly a Dedicated server will have NO lag compare to a P2P setup...
