can anyone help with my ps3 problem

i've just had the first problem with my ps3, i've had it since it first came out. I switched on the ps3 and put in pro evolution soccer 2008 to play and nothing happened. The little loading signed appeared and quickly dissappeared but it failed to do anything. I then put a couple of other discs in, e.g call of duty and kane and lynch and they worked fine. Does anybody know what the problem is here. Do you think it's the disk that is causing the probl;em and therefore is a isolated incident or do you think it could be a sign of worse things to come for my ps3?

if its just that one disc, then there's something wrong with the disc you got there?
