can anyone prove this?

So my friend the other day was telling me that I should buy my console at costco...

I asked why?

He goes well I got the RRoD on my xbox after quite awhile (launch xbox) and he went right into costco and with no questions asked they replaced it...better yet they said they didnt have the perticular xbox he had so they upgraded it to the Halo edition xbox free of charge, no questions asked.

He said he thinks costco has some sort of universal 5 year warranty on all things like consoles ipods etc.... and that he didnt even have to have his reciept. They looked him up through his memebership.

So can anyone prove this and would it be wise to maybe get a system through them if they easily replace any broken electronics?

Ive also heard stories bout people doing the same things with ipods...they break(maybe their own fault) they take it in..bam walkin out with a new one in hand....

Costco is a store that has EVERYTHING you would need to survive. Food, cloths, electronics. Everything...

haha...its like a sams club...maybe you have heard of that one?

It sells things wholesale... so insead of one bag of m&m's you get a whole box like the ones they sell in the gas stations. good for buying things in bulk.... you want one box of waffles? too bad you will get 20 boxes! hahah

Yeah we got one awhile back and they sell stuff at amazing prices. I mean like a huge jar of jelly bellies for like ten bucks... its great

Ever seen Employee of the Month with dane cook? That is a costco they just call it price mart. If you look at some the scenes you can see boxes with Costos signature logo "kirkland" on them...
