I've spent money on my account and I know I can change my username on Steam (free) and Xbox Live (for a fee). I want to keep the data but change the username.

As of right now there is no way to change it. This doesn't bother me because I'm happy with it, but some people like to for some reason.
Yes, you can. Just add a new USER, register it to a different email (even a fake one), and Bob's yer uncle. All DLC, PSN games, etc will be available. Trophies and current game progress/ online XP are the only thing you'll be missing. But if you just want a different name to play online games, for example, it's that easy. You'll start from scratch with all XP in whatever games you're playing, but man-up... It's "Replay Value".

Haha, so true. I restarted when I was at level 7 so that sucked not having past games on my track record :( but it gives a reason to play Journey again. Even with losing my trophy list, I'm much happier having changed my username than to go around with a name I hated.Yes, you can.
