Can I get some love for Fallout 3?

I'm tired of the many threads coming down hard on the PS3 release of Fallout 3. All these people who are yet to get the game just complaing about stuff that they read about. The game has minor graphical glitches, but overall the game runs fine. I'm yet to find a major gameplay issue.

Is there anyone else who actually bought and played the game, and enjoyed it?

I for one am having a blast playing, it's the most fun I've had in an RPG in a long time. Can I get some positive thoughts?

Good fun game.

I love it...but I have it on a different system, so I can't give any console specifics about bugs or graphics or anything.

The crying is crazy anyway, it's a bunch of pissed off people who haven't even played the game yet. Everybodys so quick to say they don't listen to reviewers, yet this caused all hell to break lose. I guess they lie.

I've got it on the ps3 and I've played a couple hours on it (currently finishing up FC2) and you hit the nail on the head.

Most of the people complaining haven't even touched the game.

Just a bunch of drama queens bro, the game is great.

yeah, im about 8-9 hours in and ive had no freeze ups, glitches, or bugs.

People need to play this game for themselves. I mean, all you have to do i not sign into the PSN, and the game runs as smooth as butter.

And this game is amazing, addicting, and awesome. I LOVE THIS GAME!

I found an extra crate of love buried deep in a corner here in the office. It's a little dusty but you're welcome to use it for Fallout 3 if you want.emitsu97

On the subject, I'll sure buy Fallout 3 sometime next year. I'm really interested in the game but it won't make the 2008 cut for me since there's other game I want(ed) more (Far Cry 2, Saints Row 2, Resistance 2, Quantum of Solace).

I think people are just upset because the game has a few glitches and the other versions don't, and this version looks just a little less great than the others. That being said, I'd put the graphics at somewhere around Oblivion, maybe a little better. But I'd say it's like Oblivion on 360, and the other versions are like Oblivion on PS3... meaning the texture work is improved slightly, but not by enough to go apescat over it.

That being said, great game. It's a lot like the Elder Scrolls games, which is sure to piss off the Fallout faithful to some degree (but I love the Elder Scrolls games so whateve), but with a better setting, better dialogue, better story, better gameplay. I can understand it getting points knocked off for not being as good as the other versions, but nonetheless, I would give it a 9.0 and the version that was better a 9.5 -- worth getting if you're into this sortof game.

Yeah and you should. I don't understand how it got 8.5, but it's still only a score, so that's an opinion.

But the game is awesome.

FO does not have a great story or dialogues , neither did Oblivion for that matter the last really good game by bethesda was Morrowind IMO .

The gameplay is alright though.

When will Bethesda learn to get some good voice actors and writers......

Same here last night. Tap L2 and you'll switch back to first. Love this game so far.

The vault stuff at the beginning was stupid ..

Once you get out into the Wasteland .. and begin your torment on innocent people .. the game gets fun ..

I hope the story picks up though, seems empty .. but hopefully we will see some sort of change ..

On news for gamers I found this review which compares the 360 version to ps3 version, graphically. I found it to be helpful because they did not really one was better than the other. Unlike Gamespot. I am curtain that this game will live up to my expectations and anyone who plays it. If u are looking for a better experience I would not go out buying a 360 just build a PC. That is what I did.

I plan on purchasing it for the Ps3 and later next year for the PC when I can up the performance of my graphics card.
