THe games are much cheaper if buy online from america but are there anyoverseas restricitions or anything?

yeah sure you can, go for it.
I even occassionally find American PS3 games on the shelves of ebgames that are preowned, so yeah you'll be fine

PS3 games are region free. Blu-ray movies are region locked. So are DVDs, PS2 games and PS1 games.
This is true. Also as a side note, the regions for blu-ray movies are different than DVDs; US, Japan, Korea, HK, and most of Asia are in the same region.
LOL wow thats pretty good but i guess not many peeps would be going over sees to buy there games at least this way you can buy games online and have no worry if there is any restriction... lol wicked.....
in the repect for red dead man im pretty sure you wont be stuck playing with peeps from the U.S. but im not 100%, i didnt think there were server restrictions on it

wrong again.... not all bluray movie are region locked (and most of them are not....)Does anyone know the answer to this question? I have black ops on ps3 and i believe its a us version and I am being thrown into lobbies from america. The little mapdown the bottom even displays a proportion of area that is over the other side of the world excluding australia suporting that it is infact not in an australian server :(aussie8uI guess not
