Can i play European PSN vita games while using my US account?

Hey Guys!

i want to buy a vita but there is something that i worry about, is that my main account with all my torphies and friends is a US account but i live in Europ reagion.

so can the vita play downloaded games from the UK store and work while using my US account?

P.S i know that i can only use one account in 1 memory card.
