I believe you can if you plug your ipod into the usb port on the ps3. Under the music catagory you should see you ipod.

I tried mine and it pops up. You need to hit Triangle and Display All. Most of my songs were all jumbled. I couldn't identify what artist or album was what. You might do better, but that was my experience with it. I just use my thumb drive to put music on my PS3.

Select your ipod under music then ipod_control press triangle then 'display all' then select music. It should be something along those lines but yes it is possible and it does work. Only problem is your music isn't listed the way it would be on your ipod it just appears in sequential order.

you can, I tried it and it works.

Just use USB and you see Ipod.

However, if you just press X, you see nothing. WHat you have to do is press triangle and click display all. Then you will see all the folders inside and then you can navigate to where your music is.

Yes you have to press triangle and display all like everyone else said. However I haven't really tried it more than once since it doesn't display my songs correctly.

Thanks for the tip about the IPod. I have a 160 Gig Classic. Although I use it with an IHome alarm clock sometimes I would like to be able to navigate more music choices in the living room especially since I have the PS3 hooked up to our Sony Home Theatre.

It's kind of a pain, but if you burn songs from your ITUNES onto a CD and put the CD in the PS3, you can copy the songs from the disc to hard drive and it will do it perfectly and not jumble anything up.

If you copy the songs to your PS3's harddrive from your IPOD, then most of the songs titles will be copied correctly, but I have a folder of about 50 songs that didn't copy over with the correct title. So even though all of your songs have odd title names when you view your Ipod from yoru PS3, the titles will display correctly when you copy them to your PS3. It will even arrange them by Album.
