can i play this ps2 on my ps3?

I want to play kingdom hearts because its just a fun game that i miss since it came out almost 10yrs ago which is still one of my top best games that i have ever played. i dont want to rent it and find out i cant play it. so can i?

You are out of luck. The only PS3s that can play PS2 games are the original 20 GB and 60 GB along with the early 80 GB systems (up to the MGS4 bundle release). All PS3 versions after that had the PS2 playback taken out.

I've heard that certain types of PS3s can but I don't much about it, unfortunately I've heard that the ones that can are very expensive and I think you would be better off buying a PS2 to play those games on instead.

compatibility list, look up the model number of your PS3 and match it up.....
