no.. you cannot unless you format the hdd and then download the 3.10 FW and just install that, but then you will never be able to go online unless you update to the newest firmware.

Why is it you want to downgrade? Is it because of the facebook not being on there? I think you got the wrong idea about facebook being on the ps3. You can't actually log into your facebook account. The only thing that it does is send out notices on facebook that you got trophies or you bought a new game.

No you cannot downgrade from one version of a firmware to a previous version, (in this case from 3.15 to 3.10)

Go to account management and it should be at the bottom of the list. I don't know how else we can help you. How about try giving sony a call and see if they can help you since we're unable to.

Reformat your hdd from the ps3 settings and install 3.10 from a usb drive. Thats the only way to downgrade since 3.15 is optional.

i always thought that the firmware updates are stored on the eeproms of the motherboard and could not be reverted, just like bios updates of the pc motherboards, however mine was just an intuition, i do not know it for a fact...

You made a good point, but I think the firmware is flashed to the hidden SPU on the cell. At any point the firmware can not be removed and reinstalled with a earlier version.
