I'm worried that one of these days, my power will randomly go out while I'm playing my PS3 and my Skyrim file which I put so much time into will get corrupted or something. How can I put my Skyrim save file in a USB? I know that some PS3 games seem to have more than one icon in the "Saved data utility" section, so I don't know which one to put in the USB for Skyrim if it has more than one.

So long as it's not copy protected, you should be able to. As for which save to copy, usually, the save file still has the same timestamp of your in game save so copy the one that matches your in-game time stamp.

Yeah, some games are copy protected and won't let you do that, but it works fine with most of them. To back up a copy-protected one you pretty much have to get PS+ and save to the cloud.

i know what u mean, i've often worried about that happening as well, especially since we have a weak breaker in my house.. unfortunately for me my ps3 won't reconise usb's anymore, and most game companies are selfish so they copy protect there games.. but i'm sure on some u can do it, long as your usb device is converted to fat 32.
