Can I transfer old games from Psn to the NGP when it's out?

If I buy new psp/ps1 games off psn and play them on the psp I have now, will I be able to transfer them to the NGP and play them on that when it's out?

Yes. The PSN has always worked this way, the only thing is that a purchased title can only be downloaded a few times and there is also a limited number of accounts that can be registered per device.

As long as the NGP has a slot open for an account and the purchase game has not reached the download cap, it should work like normal.

What about game saves? It seems redundant to have to replay ALL of the PSP games I own just to have it on another system. Will game saves be transferable from the PSP to the NGP?

I would hope they would be, provided the NGP uses the M2 memory format.

I really do hope that any digital psp games bought are readily playable on NGP. It will be a real bonus and convince many people to buy the device.
