If I buy new psp/ps1 games off psn and play them on the psp I have now, will I be able to transfer them to the NGP and play them on that when it's out?
By my logic, if the NGP will support backward compatibillity, you will be able to download your games on it, like you can re-download if you delete your game that you bought.
Yes. The PSN has always worked this way, the only thing is that a purchased title can only be downloaded a few times and there is also a limited number of accounts that can be registered per device.
As long as the NGP has a slot open for an account and the purchase game has not reached the download cap, it should work like normal.
It would only seem fair if they added a couple of download slots specifically for the NGP. Then again, most people don't have more than one or two PSPs.

This question is asked often. Yes All PSN MEDIA for the PSP will work on the NGP. Digital downloads is the now & the future. Dont buy games in retail. If a game is too expensive on PSN, HOLD OUT.
What about game saves? It seems redundant to have to replay ALL of the PSP games I own just to have it on another system. Will game saves be transferable from the PSP to the NGP?
