Craigslist rocks. Just make sure the deal is in person and that he lets you test it out. Get COD4. And Uncharted. And everything :)

It's good just as long as you don't want to use any of the PS3's wi-fi functions (you can always upgrade the HDD later).

Well it really all depends on what you want in your PS3. The 20 gig has pretty much nothing. No wi-fi, 2 USB ports, NO and I repeat NO backwards compatibility, except maybe PS1, but that's a MAYBE. The 20 gig model is stripped down to the max and just uses the parts that it needs to function as a PS3 console.

omg are you freaking kidding me?

The 20 gig was built with the emotion engine, ergo, full backwards compatability, just like the 60..

where on earth did you read that?

EDIT: and the only things it doesn't have compared to the 60 is wifi, card readers, and the extra USB ports. still a great deal.

yeah, the 20gb has everything... the one you guys are referring to is the 40gb (the new one) the one you're looking at should be fine, just ask them if you can test it out. i've used craigslist and i haven't had any problems *yet*

I've never used craig's list, but I hear they're cracking down on the hookers that advertise their. Also, that one story about someone listing another persons house as a come take whatever you want free-for-all type deal while he was on vacation and he got cleaned out... Like I said, I've never used it but it doesn't sound to savory.

I use Craigslist. But be careful though. Some people will try to rip you off. I know I've been. And I have done it.

My friends say that craigslist is made up of 80% good people, and 20% really sneaky little devils who want your money.

The 20 GB is worth 200$, but I highly recommend a change of harddrive. I have a 60GB and it's already almost out of memory.

But then again, if you replace the harddrive, then that eventually adds up to enough to get the 40GB...

Are there any 40GB on CraigsList? Cuz if you can get a deal on that, then you won't be dissapointed
