i cant figure out a way to connect my ps3 to my computer like i can with the 360... even though my computer does have a bluetooth device, so i dont think you are able too and you cant play custom music while playing games :(

the solution to this is simple.

the ps3 has a Internet browser, so you can set up a website or FTP site to allow for file transfer.

just Google how to do this with your OS. XP home does not allow Internet services "IIS".

you could go one better and get a computer set up as a Windows 2003 server

The direct sync that the Xbox has is due to the face that Microsoft owns Xbox (360) and Windows. They would never give Sony or any other company that type of advantage directly. But, there are other ways to transfer files to the PS3.
