Which of the PS3's is backwards compatible? I currently own a 360 and have been looking for a reason to get a PS3. Not that I dislike the console I have now I just like variety. But now that I think I have a reason to get one I want to know which version will play my ps2/ps1 games. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Peace out peoples.
I think they are releasing a ps3 this year, that has BC, and it is limit time. Don't quote me on this. I think all the 20gbs have BC. Don't quote me on this also. But it is probably cheaper to buy a used ps2.

Currently, the 20 Gb, the 60 Gb and the MGS4 PS3 bundle (80 Gb) are the only ones that are b/c.
i have the regular 80gb model(with a 320gb druve upgrade) but anyway i have found zero problem playing ps2 games it even played tribes witch dosent work on my ps2 so it seems pritty safe.... though i dont know if they have faised out that bundle yet..... also the 20 and 60 gig models from what i here... though i gotta wonder why they all dont becouse the 80gb that i own is softwhere emulation not a emotion engine chip in it
