So i decided to show my girlfriend a little game called Mass Effect 2. instantly she decided that she didn't like the game and it was infact gay *her words*. This evening,after my hour long bath, I walk into my bedroom *nude and all* to find my girlfriend tottally engrossed with mass effect... THAT WAS 5 HOURS AGO. as i'm typing this, she's still sitting in MY chair..playing MY game..and most of all...not talking to ME.. i've never once felt this lonely. can someone please tell me how to get my girlfriend back.. i really dont want to remember today as the day mass effect 'killed' game-group and my relationship. thanks in advance X X
dude she is doing what most guys do all the time. its normal. let her play the game. there are plenty of other things to do while she is doing that like go watch tv. and not trying to be mean but now you know how she feels when you do that to her

(minus my wife who was the original gamer in our house...she turned me onto games when we started dating...she curses that day now...she actually showed our entertainment system/game and movie collection to her friends recently and dubbed it "the kitchen she'll never have!)
Most guys would kill to have a gf who plays games with them be grateful for what you have.... You don't know what you have until it's gone but if she does hog the system to much consider buying her one for a birthday or xmas gift that way you can both game at the same time.
Let her play? I'm sure you'll make it a few hours, just do something else... Of course, you could just hit the switch on the back of the PS3 if you're really that desperate.
Start walking around in just your underwear. She'll be all distracted and wtf. Then's your chance to simply say that it's your turn. She'll be so amused she might just say alright.
Let he play and be thankful you have a girlfirend that likes video games.

Man up and kick her off the playstation 3. Or you can really man up even more and buy her a Playstation 3 and a copy of Mass effect 3. Most couples that game together stay together.
You might as well tease her about saying Mass effect series is gay Now she is into playing this game and enjoying it. Now she might like other videogames. She she once viewed playing videogames as dumb which is the context of the word gay in this instance.

Wow,,, some of you guys are really grumpy, I thought the story was rather funny so i thought i would tell some other people about the situation. She's always been into games but this is the first time we've had a game in common, she usally like games like 'star ocean, persona' mostly jrpgs. I wasn'nt being deadly serious about kickinng her off, it was mosty my bad sense of humor. As im typing this she's just pay the 16 hour mark... i'm about to upload a photoof her playing it to my twitter , so to the people calling me a troll (whatever that is) can see. Anyway.... sorry if i upset anyone over the post, Have a wonderful day

She's always been into games but this is the first time we've had a game in common, she usally like games like 'star ocean, persona' mostly jrpgs. This post makes you sound like someone who isnt a troll, But the other posts did. Plus you only have 16 posts. Alot of people make accounts simply to be disruptive to the board. Your beginning statements just make you sound like such a poster. If your not, then welcome to the community. But the post seemed very strange like you being married to lady shepard, being nude, and feeling lonley. Hopefully it is just your strange situational humor (no offence it is humerouse).
