okay i just got my ps3 and i want to no witch way is the best way to keep the ps3 vertical or horizontal i really like vertacal but my little brother keeps saying that wen it is vetical all the parts are hanging to the side and he said wen it is horizontal all the parts are flat on the floor witch is better is this true i really need someones help can someone plz tell me witch way is beter plzz plzz

horizontal, the same as the PS2 (not the slim). It is not so much as the way the parts hang, but think about the laser. its motor has to work harder to go up and down as opposed to side to side. But there was a heat test done on it and it showed a vast improvement in the PS3 to circulate and keep cooler while horizontal. Heat has shown its self to be a major concern with the PS3, so what ever you choose give it plenty of room. And no I don't have the link to the vid of the test but it was actually pretty interesting.
