This is basically for a TV in my room when I can play it without bugging the mates when they're watching a movie. I'm looking for something decently cheap- but will give me a good sense of quality when playing the PS3 that I can appreciate over my CRT that's like 6 years old.

So, as the name implies:

Can someone recommend a good HDTV 32"-36" for the ps3? (If it exists)

p.S.: OR atleast recommend for things to look for in a TV. I have no idea what I'm supposed to want / need.

You have to give a pricerange at least.  For starters, the S2010 line from Sony is a good choice at LCD, and Sony's 34" XBR CRT is the best picture quality you can buy at the size.

I wasn't looking for anything top of the line. This is just the secondary one to be used incase the main ones in use. I was looking at around 700-1300 CAD (Slightly lower in USD)
