Can Sony Hype Up A Launch Like Halo 3???

Its doubtfull. I can see it with KillZone 2 especially it gets awesome reviews before its release. The problem with MSG4 is that its a Konami game and sony would have a tough time promoting out house game. That why I am thinking with KillZone 2 they might do it.

Now don't take this wrong, but even with all that marketing blitz for KZ2 it won't reach the hype of Halo 3. But it would be nice to see some PS3 ad blitzes especially with a potential AAA game such as KZ2

In NA? Unlikely but anything can happen. It would be nice to get some publicity around games for ps3 but i dont think it will happen.

out of the 3 i think its MS that needs toout dohalo more than sony or nintendo

they have a very challenging task of trying to duplicate its success with future games, which is unfortunate because every game for the box will be compared to Halo in terms of sales and will probably never reach it

everyone who has a 360 will be looking for the next "halo" which isnt going to happen or is very unlikely.

Sony doesnt need to match it, because PS isnt know for just one game. MS does. So MS will need to prove they can put out something else other than halo and prove their more than just a one trick pony

sure theres gears of war 2, but will it duplicate halo in terms of success? probably not.

no , i dont see this happening. halo 3 is EVERYWHERE. i mean EVERYWHERE. i just dont see sony or any1 besides MS putting this kind of money into advertising and hype. would be cool to see that but, how much money do you think they put into advertising halo3??? ill tell you, more than they will prolly ever make off the game imo. but, like i said, it would be cool to see a huge sony title everywhere like this. even tho im not a halo fan, or really a MS fan at that, you got to give it to them on making sure ervery1 sees halo3 lol.foxbait95
