Can the PS3 do this?!

Ok in my eb games I saw the call of duty legacy pack that contained COD 1 & 2 for 20 dollars. Can the PS3 play ONLINE PS2 games?

And does COD 1 and 2 have good online play? I heard it does but just to be sure :D thank you!

Yeah thats a good price for both, and yes it can play PS2 games online once you have set up a network account. Games like SOCOM and a few others give you the option to set up a network... COD might too.

COD4 will have better online play than those games... I am not sure people play COD online anymore... but you never know. Anyways 20 bucks for 2 games is a good price. They are fun games.

Or just play Call of Duty 1 and 2 both on the PC, the way they were meant to be played in the first place. Let's see how your XBoys can hang with some real CoD2 competition...lol u have no idea how much you would be pwned

That is true, but it technically wasn't relevant to the topic. The topic is. Can the PS3 do this. So telling him to get a 360 is irrelevant in any way. You could have said yes the PS3 can do this, but if you prefer yo ucould get a 360 and play COD2 in HD or not said it at all. And on a side note owning all 3 systems doesn't exempt you from being a fanboy. You can still be a fanboy whiles owning all the systems. Just like I can go buy a Wii and 360 right now and play them a lot less than I Do my PS3 and still bash them just because I only play like 1 or a couple of games on that system.

I Got it! YAY! I am enjoying it.

I setted up the online with COD 1 and it works but there are some errors but they can be ignored(Like i get error if i want to join a room but some rooms work). But I cant get my COD 2 online for some reason. Any suggestions? :(

My PS3 is a 60gig
