can the PS3's downloadable content SAVE motorstorm?

i just bought motorstorm and i LOVE IT!

and i know i'd be repeating everybody if i were to complain about the lack of split-screen so ill skip the rant. but what do u think the chances are for Sony making it possible to DOWNLOAD split-screen?

a similar(ish) situation is that with xbox live on Gears u could download more maps... its the same idea with the whole extra game content. in my oppinion, split scren is the only major problem with that game

if they come out with a download that will add split screen then this game becomes a purchase for me, but with out it its nothin more then a weeks rental

and if this game had custom soudntracks, then even without split screen it would become a must own for me, but custom soundtracks will never happen on a sony system as they are to blind to see the sellin potential of it

yea it cant be that hard to allow people to play their own stuff. and everybody likes games a ton more when its THEIR music playing.. BUT this game (for me) has a pretty good sound track. a lot of major artists are in it.. i liked that during my first try at the game, i heard Nirvana, Queens of the Stoneage, AND Slipknot. but of course there is a lot of stuff id rather hear.

i dunno. ive only played the demo. gow2 is tops on my priorities and then motorstorm.

the "who needs split screen when u have no friends" is basicly "no" or "i dont want it" but im sure u figured it out on ur own.. ALSO the dirtbikes are cool.. u can punch people! but no fun when u get run over by a truck that looks like it belongs in starwars! (if anybody has played motorstorm u know wut im talking about)

i think DL content will help motorstorm. im buying it bc DL content will be made otherwise probably not. And im a casual gamer. so i think i speak for the majority

yea i love how hard the AI can be. frustrating at times but its great to play a racing game where u actually feel like there are other people in the cars. these cars will run u over, push u off clifs, hit u off your bike... etc. omg its just all around great!

i just still wish i could play it with a friend at my house.. even in online, some games do that where u can only go split screen if its online.. i would settle for that. but 1) only a few of my friends have a PS3 2) even THEY dont all have motorstorm anyway

The only thing that can "save" motorstorm is a better online lobby system. Other than that is barely needs saving.acidBURN1942

I thought I heard on IGN that the creators at Evolution were actually working on content for the PSN.  Anyone else hear that?JoeyDrey

this games would does need to be SAVE. However online content with further enhance the games. It's a great game, that only Gamespot think it's need saving, other think it's very good already.

The games is pure fun.  For those online racer that drive like dale earnhardt, thanks for wrecking my races.

Im sure single and online playing is great but I wanted this game for me and my friends to play offline. I was so dissapointed when I heard no offline multiplayer. Its not a must have now. Ill just wait and hope for a download or something.fuman3
