Can the PSP 3000 play PS one classic or minis?

I know the new PSP go can download those games from the PSN but with a M2 memory card can the PSP 3000 do that?

Certainly can - I have 1 PS1 Classic and 2 mini's on my 3000 so far. Just need a reasonable stick (mine is 16gb but a 4gb will give you a fair few mini's and PS1 classics!) and the internet.

As long as you have a memory stick, and $$$, you can play PS1's on a PSP 3,000,2,000 or 1,000. I own 5 PS1 games on my PSP 3,000.
