Can u imagine to have trophies 4 these games:
God of War 3, Killzone 2, Resident Evil 5, Resistance 2, Fallout 3
I don't know why but I can't imagine that.... What would the trophies be??

I wouldn't want to see trophies in any of these either than Fallout 3 because it's a more open environment. I know every game will eventually get trophies but I don't want em in the non-open world games. It becomes to generic in the sense that while you're playing the story, you're attempting to unlock that stuff during the missions or lvls & what not. There is no optional route with story driven games. Can u imagine to have trophies 4 these games:

Yeap for all of them. Resistance 2 you will see soon. fallout 3 look at the xbox 360 achivements, if there will be thropies for the PS3 they would be likely the same as the 360 achivements
God of war 3, comobs, completeing the story on easy, medium hard...
Killzone 2, Resident evil 5, head shots completeing the story, makeing X number of kills with a gun, X number of headshots etc.
I know 2 from Fallout watching gameplay on Youtube
1. escape- bronze trophy. easiest one and no prizes for guessing. mereley escape the vault.
2. 'X' maniac - bronze. Sneak up to I guy cloaked a place a live Frag in his gear.( In pickpocketing, you have the fun of PLACING items there!)

I never concentrate on trophies/achievements on a first playthrough, I concentrate on the story/gameplay and its overall experience. I think trophies are a great addition to games, they can add HUGE amounts of replay value to games, especially with shorter games, trophies adding replay value can often times help to justify the $60 price tag on shorter games.

No .. great games justify the 60 dollar price tag, regardless of size ..
I dont understand why multiplats like Fallout 3 wont have trophies. If they can put achivements into the 360 version, why not just make the trophies for the PS3 version under the same names.......hillelslovak
fallout 3 will have trophies just not at launch. this is my only reason for not preordering it, im going to wait til its patched then ill buy it. it will be a large game i dont want to have to beat it twice

I agree with you. However, there are many gamers out there that will complain that shorter games arent worth $60 simply because the game is "too short" or "has no replay value" A good example would be Heavenly Sword. In my opinion, a great title for the PS3 and to me, worth $60; but alot have claimed "i'm not going to buy it b/c its too short/no replay value" So what I was stating was that trophy support is great, it adds replay value to games that are shorter and thus giving these gamers more of a reason to play through a game multiple times thus better justifying a $60 purchase for them.

Understood .. but honestly to me Heavenly Sword and Uncharted were easily worth the 60 dollars .. the graphics, voice acting, cinematics and gameplay were all superb .. in my opinion anyways ..
