Can u stream videos from youtube on the PS3 via Internet???

What do you mean, that Yellow Dog Linux does that? I have often used Linux Suse for my pc and laptop, but if i wanted to run windows-based software, there was only emulation:? (Wine)

Windows and Linxu are rivals, just like the PS3 and 360 - i dont think you can run windows based programs on linuxDante865

No you can't that's why the emulators are all inbuild on Linux.

Listen guys xp and vista cost us more than you get. :(And not only the OS that Win does extribute, but also a i say PhotoS..lol or any other professional software. It's only up the other concerns, to invest on Linux, which does only have Gimp and two other few that i can't seem to recall. Hope this distribution will finally build up, but knowing the PS3 supports it, i think it'll finally get the attention needed. Not all ps3 belong to infants you know:P Devs and Programmers own Playstations these days:)

Linux has a bit more longer start-up yes, but the desktop is much more clear imo, and the danger of spyware and virusses is nil.

So let's get this straight...

You are hyped to get a PS3 to watch streaming movies on it. :|
